Mrs. Simoes is an A.M.I. certified Montessori teacher with over thirty years of experience teaching children aged two to six. Mrs. Simoes is an A.M.I. certified Montessori teacher with over thirty years of experience teaching children aged two to six. She is a strong advocate for the Montessori method and has experienced first-hand how patience, caring, and ingenuity can take a child’s desire to learn, and teach them new languages, skills and cultures. She believes in providing a challenging, caring learning environment for young children to flourish, centered around an authentic Montessori curriculum and classroom materials. She also educates parents in the Montessori philosophy, so they are better able to support their children’s learning and development at home.
Mrs. Simoes is proud to be the Founder and Principal of Boni Montessori, where she is able to spread the benefits of a Montessori education to future generations in her community, including through the guidance and mentorship of her teaching team.

Ms. Amanpreet has a diploma in Early Childhood Education and has completed a MACTE accredited Montessori Toddler course. She is fluent in both English and Punjabi. This is her third year working with Toddlers at Boni Montessori School.

Prior to becoming a Montessori Toddler Teacher, Ms. Amanpreet joined Boni Montessori School as a student teacher and did her ECE practicum in the CASA program. As a student teacher she started to identify with the Montessori method of education and pursued her studies to obtain a diploma in Montessori Toddler course. She believes the Montessori philosophy provides children a level of autonomy that promotes independence, and growth to blossom into their best selves. Ms. Amanpreet understands the importance of the developmental needs of young children in their early years of life. She is passionate about creating a prepared environment that is equipped with developmentally appropriate materials that provide exploration and growth in children. She provides a welcoming and stimulating environment for children under her care. Ms. Amanpreet is a nurturing, patient and engaging teacher who inspires confidence and self-awareness in her students.
