Our Toddler Program curriculum is designed to give children aged 16 months to 30 months an enriched learning atmosphere with developmentally appropriate materials. This is a walking environment and our friendly, caring teachers offer a warm, nurturing setting for young minds. Our classroom is a peaceful and happy place where your child’s needs are attended to at every stage of development. Our teachers use proper nomenclature and expose children to a broad vocabulary with books and pictures to enhance the language rich environment. Children learn to be independent in self-care, such as toileting, wiping nose, washing hands etc. There are indoor and outdoor activities which help the children to strengthen, control and coordinate their movements and develop fine and gross motor skills. The furniture is designed appropriately for toddlers to enable them to work with materials, prepare and serve snacks, eat, and clean up after their meals. Individually-labeled cots, sheets and blankets are provided for each child to rest/nap in the afternoons.
Teachers: Our Toddler teacher has a diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and has completed a MACTE accredited Montessori Toddler course. She is supported by an experienced teaching assistant.
